I approach my work with three guiding words: “listen, listen, listen.” I am a very hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves CFO who strives for approachability. I work to ensure my people know that I understand the challenges we face every day, and that I’m right there next to them. Sticking people in a silo doesn’t allow them to be their best, rather stagnates growth.  

To be a leader, you have to be able to adapt to work with personalities that are very different from yours. You can’t find a more opposite personality type than between a designer and a finance professional, and that’s what I love about architecture. I’ve learned to appreciate the differences and allow their creativity to inspire innovative approaches to my work. It’s the diversity of our authentic worldviews that creates success.
