Rocky Hanish designs, builds, and plans urban-scale projects. He teaches architecture and planning studios at ASU. Born in Minnesota, he calls Phoenix home. Recognizing the typical problems of hot, arid climates, he works from the perspective that while our prosperity hinges on livability, a desert teems with life that’s adapted to its nature, and we’re part of that.
