Sara Shumbera

With over fifteen years of Healthcare Planning and some additional years of Laboratory Planning experience, Sara strives to do her work more effectively and efficiently within each project. Planning is a true joy to Sara and she enjoys both the puzzle and emotional aspects of the job. Healthcare is unlike most other building types,although it has many common spaces to other types, it has an emotional aspect that none other has. She has a passion for education and mentorship and has been involved with both the Healthcare Design Conference as the AIA-AAH Chairperson and also with the AIA-AAH STERIS Student Design Charrette and as an associate professor with her Alma-mater.
