Ian draws on his experience with detailing, from the building envelope to monumental stairs and interior millwork, on a variety of project types, to approach each project with an understanding of design at every scale. Ian’s detailed approach is guided by the shared knowledge and collaborative spirit of Shepley Bulfinch, and a commitment to a well-performing as well as aesthetically beautiful building envelope. He uses his skills as a visual artist to explore, study, and communicate design ideas.
