Janette Blackburn, FAIA, is a Principal and leader in Shepley Bulfinch’s education practice. Her award-winning higher education work is informed by a deep understanding of campus life and learning environments and the variety of programs supporting community within colleges and universities. Janette is deeply familiar with academic concepts of innovation and creativity, and how they must be reshaped for each institution to meet their specific goals and culture. She presents and publishes regularly at higher education venues, including for the American Library Association, Association of College Unions (ACUI) and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).
