Luke Voiland

Luke Voiland is a Principal and Executive Vice President for Practice Strategy at Shepley Bulfinch, leading the design of projects across the life sciences, education, and healthcare industries. Luke brings an inquisitive approach to the design process that reveals new creative opportunities. He advocates for design responses that include natural light, flexibility, and healthy materials to create healthy, collaborative environments, as implemented notably on Harvard University’s Pagliuca Life Lab, Yale New Haven Health’s Greenwich Hospital, Harvard Medical School’s Countway Library Renovation, and the new Smilow Cancer Center. Building Design + Construction included Luke in their “40 Under 40” Class of 2017, and he was named an Emerging Leader by the Design Futures Council in 2013.
