Merlin has studied, taught, and built architecture for the last two decades. His interests lie in the details of what makes a design work. While working at a design build firm in Phoenix, Merlin learned to draw details that would withstand the elements and client use. Now he uses this knowledge of materials to push designs towards constructibility. His most recent projects include the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital at Greenwich, CT and the mixed-use multi-family high rise, McKinley Green in downtown Phoenix with Haterras Sky.
