Sid’s path to Principal was through a project management pathway. His focus is delivering projects that meet our client’s goals while creating places that meet the greater architectural goal of placemaking. His ambition is that each member of a project team, at Shepley and at the client, comes away from a project with a shared sense of ownership, responsibility, and pride in the creative contribution that is architecture’s place in our shared design experience. For fifteen years Sid served as the firm’s Managing Principal, with a focus on assuring that Shepley is successful as a business, able to attract and support talented professionals in service to its clients. For several years, he also directed the career services program for the Career Discovery program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
