Vanderbilt University Medical Center celebrates centennial of Shepley Bulfinch design
The Vanderbilt University Medical School building, now known as Medical Center North, opened on Sept. 16, 1925, and for decades served as the home to all Vanderbilt University Medical Center activities. Designed by Coolidge, Shepley, Bulfinch and Abbott, VUMC explores how the space has transformed over the past 100 years to remain a cutting-edge medical and educational facility.
