We are seeking a healthcare planner to work directly with institutional healthcare clients and internal teams on projects of all scales. The position develops and communicates planning concepts through verbal, written and graphic means, working under the guidance of the Senior Medical Planner to ensure planning strategies align with overall design vision, and coordinating with consultants to integrate their requirements. Responsibilities also include participating in and helping facilitate user group, stakeholder and public meetings; developing space plans that address project parameters and user needs under senior oversight; maintaining program documentation; and assisting with regulatory approval documentation as required. The role stays current on planning trends, delivery systems, codes, regulations, and evidence-based design principles, and actively participates in performance reviews to support their own development.

How Do You Know if this Role is Right for You?
You have experience overseeing programming and space planning needs for a project. You enjoy working directly with clients and internal teams on projects of all scales. Your skillsets include developing a thorough understanding of stakeholders' visions, goals, operational and spatial needs and synthesizing these elements with design concepts. You're able to with the project team to integrate equipment, regulatory requirements, engineering requirements, and interior design concepts into a cohesive building design. When the project scale requires it, you would also be ready to lead an internal planning team, monitor scheduled tasks, and ensure deadlines and key milestones are met within the scheduled framework of a project.

Qualifications
•    B.Arch., M.Arch. or equivalent degree
•    5+ years' healthcare planning experience
•    Proficiency in Revit and Affinity Suite
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Solid interpersonal skills
