Principal

Growing up in a family where my dad was a veterinarian and my mom an elementary schoolteacher, I was exposed to the best of both worlds: science and creative thinking. My parents always encouraged me to pursue my interests, from academics, to arts, to sports. I was always running off to practice or painting at an easel in my spare time.

Looking back, my success can be attributed to a combination of creativity, motivation, and strong work ethic. Sports also taught me how to work as a team—to challenge each other to be our best and work together to accomplish a common goal. These fundamentals have stayed with me throughout my career as an architect and have allowed me to see what a difference we can make when we work together.

I am driven by collaborating and creating true partnerships with higher education and civic clients, guiding them to think beyond their everyday and to imagine what could be. I have always believed that successful buildings are not just about the physical design; they capture emotion and create an experience through discovery.
